Most of my experience is in ad tech, where I've worked on distributed services, data pipelines, authorization and observability. I mostly write Go and Python, and I'm comfortable taking a feature from an early design all the way to production.

Lead Engineer
Jan 2025 - PresentPlan Assist
I'm part of the team building an AI-assisted media planning workflow for the Samsung DSP. It turns an advertiser brief into a forecasted plan and gives the operations team a much faster starting point for each campaign.
Geo-data migration and postal-code targeting
I led a migration of the DSP's geo-targeting data to a new provider without disrupting active campaigns. Once the new foundation was in place, I used it to add postal-code targeting.
Software Engineer
Aug 2022 - Dec 2024Authorization Service
I designed and built a shared authorization service in Go, giving multiple products one place to manage roles, permissions and policy decisions.
Observability and CI/CD
I helped make the DSP easier to operate by moving its metrics to Prometheus and Grafana and improving the build and deployment pipelines engineers use every day.
Engineering Jam Session
I started a regular engineering jam session where people across teams can share something they've built, learned or are still figuring out.
Campaign pacing
I added flexible, date-based budget allocation to campaign pacing, giving advertisers more control than the standard even or accelerated options.
Beyond feature work, I spend a lot of time on design reviews, code reviews and production support. I like leaving behind useful design docs and runbooks, and I stay with incidents through the follow-up work rather than stopping at the immediate fix.
